It was a special evening at the Rotary Club of Alliston's Changeover Night, where we celebrated the beginning of a new year for the Rotary and welcomed our new Presidents, Maureen Royle and John McFarland. The event took place at the Gibson Centre on 63 Tupper Street West, in Alliston, where many Rotarians gather for meetings every Monday (Going forward, every-other-Monday). Last Monday evening, on June 16th, two new members were welcomed into the Rotary Club of Alliston. Last night, Judy Irvine gave her speech to introduce herself and provide insight to the other members about who she is and why she's become a Rotarian. The Rotary Club of Alliston had two special guest speakers tonight!
Scott and Mitch from Banting Memorial high school attended to share their stories and learning experience from their participation in the annual Camp Enterprise. Last year, the Alliston Rotary Club sent five Grade 11 and 12 students to the program, and this year, Scott and Mitch were among the lucky students chosen to go.

The Farmer's Market started yesterday!!! (on Saturday, May 20th) Every Saturday The Farmer's Market will be going on in downtown Alliston on Mill Street and Victoria starting at 8am until 2pm. Come meet the vendors and enjoy this community event! Great way for new residents to make some new friends!
