The home inspection is a thorough non-invasive examination from the top to the bottom and every accessible area in between.  Parts of the home inspected include the roof covering, structure, foundation, chimneys, exterior siding and trim, all other functional exterior components, attached garage, and all interior functional components including electrical, plumbing, insulation and permanently installed appliances.

Inspections are performed to the Standards of Practice of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and the Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (CAHPI).

Some inspectors may have a menu of prices based on home age, size and other factors.  We only have one price.

The I.D. price is $287.60 + HST = $325.00

Following the inspection, I.D. will provide a detailed and comprehensive report, including photographs, of any deficiencies or areas of concern. This report will be a useful reference as you reflect on your decision.

Timing:

A typical home inspection takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete.  However, I.D. will take the time required to complete a full and comprehensive inspection.  It is important that you attend so that you can see any conditions that might be described in the report.  This is a time for you to ask questions and get everything you need to make an informed decision.
